Travel

Welcome to the Mendocino Coast!

Our wedding is located at the Mendocino Stone Ranch in Gualala, CA. Surrounded by tall redwood trees and beautiful stone sculptures, we hope that this venue brings as much magic to you all as it does us.

Due to the location and timing of the event, if you plan on attending we strongly suggest getting a hotel and staying the night locally. Highway 1 is no joke, and neither is the hour+ drive to return to "mainland" California. Below are the local hotels and spaces you can stay, as well as other fun places to check out on your way home.

Venue Info:

The venue is split by Fish Rock Road! Parking will exclusively be on the South side of the ranch. The reception will be taking place on the North side of the ranch.

During the event, there will be a cart taking people to and from the North and South side. Please be careful driving at the ranch, there is a lot of stone work and loose gravel.

This is a small bed and breakfast located about a mile from the venue. Tomas and I have stayed here, it was lovely! You can also order breakfast to the room by 9pm the night prior, we suggest the biscuits or cherry scones.

This location also has EV Level 2 charging available for all rooms.

These cottages are stand alone buildings located on a 8 acre property. They are located about 1 mile away from the venue. They offer fresh eggs in the morning and produce from their garden.

They have one Level 2 EV charger on site,.

This is one of the few hotels/motels in downtown Gualala. This location is about 6 miles away from the venue. Our friends have stayed here in the past and loved it.

This is one of the cheaper options in the area and has ADA rooms available.

Another hotel in the downtown area. This location is about 6 miles away from the venue. The owner is really nice, Tomas and I have stayed here in the past and appreciated the ease of access to local shops and also the short distance to our friend's old place.

Has ADA rooms available.

A more fancy stay in downtown Gualala. This location is also about 6 miles away from the venue. They have a restaurant and bar attached, with ocean view rooms. While we don't know anybody who has stayed here, word on the street is that the views are great and so is the service.

Has ADA rooms available.

AirBNB

If you are looking for a more private stay, we suggest checking out the AirBNBs in Anchor Bay. They are really beautiful and can accommodate groups of 2-8 depending on the place.

Things to Do

Gualala is a fun small town on the coast, while most of the things to do are nature-focused, there are some cool places we like to visit when we are in town.
